5th Grade Newsletter
May 13-17, 2019
Science - We will be doing a Relay Ninja Review on Monday and Matter lockbox on Tuesday. STAAR test on Wednesday. Make sure they have a good night sleep and they are going to ROCK the test!
Social Studies- Scholastic News
Reading - We will be doing independent research this week. Students will be working on their own on a topic of their choice. They will be using what they learned last week to properly research a topic, paraphrase what they learn, and cite the work in a bibliography.
Please remember to have them read 20 minutes a night. Anything counts. Reading is reading is reading. Have a great weekend!
Math- Students will be reviewing our last and final unit of the year Unit 10: Representing Data. This unit includes reading and analyzing frequency tables, bar graphs, dot plots, stem and leaf plots, and scatter plots.
*** Students can always login through Clever and go to Imagine Math for additional math practice.
